The Black Lives Matter car driven by William Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr. is now available today, August 27, as part of the August DLC pack for the recently released NASCAR Heat 5. It includes 59 paint schemes and three new challenges.

This new DLC comes after the July pack released last month just after the game’s actual release. That content pack included 51 new paint schemes and three new challenges. This has brought some criticism to 704 Games. Not because of BLM, but the fact that the DLC content probably should’ve been available as part of the base game. Instead, it is available to purchase for $12.99 or as part of the season pass for $29.99 in addition to the $49.99 base game released in July.

Rather than purchase the entire season pass, I purchased this pack as I thought this would’ve come with the base game. I do like the vehicle and the thought of a peaceful, compassionate advertisement such as that. It did raise the question of: does Black Lives Matter receive any of the revenue from this pack? Xbox Gamer will inquire and report back.

“In addition to the new schemes we’ve got three new Challenges, two of which are Dirt Series, and the third sees you getting behind the wheel of the Xfinity Series #98 to see if you can get Briscoe ahead of Gragson at Bristol!,” NascarHeat.com said.

Here is the full list of added paint schemes, according to the game’s website:
