AI teammates are making a comeback to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon series. These were available in solo mode in the previous game, Wildlands, and should be a welcomed addition to the current game, Breakpoint. According to the game’s website, the update will be made available at 5 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, and will be 19.09 gigabytes in size.
You will be able to turn this new feature on and off from the lobby as well as customize your teammates gender and appearances. The Ubisoft article states that Sync Shot will be back and may be used with teammates and drones allowing for seven targets to be taken out simultaneously.
A time or two, in Ghostlands, the AI team causes the enemy to spot you, but it won’t do that this time, “If no order is given to engage and the enemy AI (Azrael or other) has no visual confirmation on your own character, the AI Teammates will never break your stealth.”
You will also be able to give them four orders and they will attempt to revive you when you are down.
Full details on the Teammates addition can be read here. Also in this update:
- Live Event 2 will run from July 16 to July 29 and contain nine new missions.
